What is Journal Venue?

Journal Venue offers AI-powered toolkits and 5+ financial models, helping creatives and founders scale their operations with custom digital products.

What is an interactive AI journal?

The Interactive AI Journal is an embedded web app in your digital library. As you log your daily entries — meals, moods, expenses, habits — our AI cross-references your inputs and identifies patterns in real time. It's not a static PDF. It's a live workspace that adapts to you.

Can I access audiobooks?

Yes. Immediately after purchase, your products load into your personal Digital Library. You can read, listen, and track from any desktop, tablet, or smartphone without downloading bulky files. Audiobooks and podcasts are included with multi-format bundles and the Annual Pass.

How does product generation work?

Our DFY (Done-For-You) packages let you submit a brief — topic, audience, format, tone — and our AI Studio generates a complete multi-format product: eBook, audiobook, interactive journal, and podcast series. Delivered to your library within 30–60 days.

What is the AI Companion?

The AI Companion is your personal reading assistant. It has read every product in your library. You can ask it questions like "Based on the 3 guides I bought, what should I focus on today?" and it synthesizes insights across all your products.

Never. Zero ads. Zero sponsored content. Zero trackers. Your reading experience is completely private and uninterrupted.

What does membership include?

The Annual Pass ($149/yr) unlocks the entire library, all future drops, the AI Companion, reading circles, the Slow Living Journal, and reading path certificates. A La Carte ($15–$47) gives you a single product. Multi-Format Bundles ($49–$149) give you the complete system: eBook + Audiobook + Interactive Journal + Podcast.

The Annual Pass is annual. Access continues until your term ends — there is no recurring monthly billing. One-time purchases are permanent — you keep what you buy forever.

How do reading circles work?

Reading Circles are themed, member-only book clubs. Each circle has a curated product, a reading schedule, and a discussion board where members and our curators share chapter-by-chapter reflections. Join any circle from the Community page.

What is the Slow Living Journal?

The Slow Living Journal is our quarterly member-published digital magazine. Members submit essays, reflections, and journal entries; selected pieces are published in each issue. It's a space for the community to contribute, not just consume.

How do certificates work?

Complete a reading path — a curated sequence of products in a single niche — and you earn a Reading Path Certificate. Certificates are saved to your dashboard and verify you've worked through the full path, not just skimmed it.

What is The Private Memoir Vault?

The Private Memoir Vault is a one-time, high-ticket service where our AI Biographer interviews you across structured sessions to compile your life story into a polished memoir manuscript. Three tiers — The Keepsake ($2,500, 8 sessions), The Heirloom ($5,000, 16 sessions with photo-archive pages), and The Testament ($10,000, the full biography programme with multi-voice narration). Your manuscript is hosted in a private vault with named-heir access.

What is the Heirloom Pass?

The Heirloom Pass lets Collector's Guild members nominate one heir (name and email). If a membership lapses, your notes, syntheses, and vault convert to a read-only Estate for your heir — preserving your reading legacy. You can update your heir nomination at any time from your dashboard.

What is the Journal Venue Prize?

The Journal Venue Prize is an annual community award recognising the best library titles and community contributions. Members nominate favourites, the community votes, and winners receive a laurel badge and featured placement on the Library. The Prize is prestige only — no cash, no tokens, no royalties.

What is the Annual Personal Treasury?

Once a year, each member can generate a print-ready Personal Treasury — a beautiful serif document compiling your year in the library: highlights, aha moments, weekly syntheses, and retreat reflections. Collector's Guild members receive an expanded edition with deeper analysis and additional chapters.

What are The Author & Scholar and The Collector's Guild tiers?

The Author & Scholar ($390/yr) includes everything in All-Access plus Book Studio Pro, Second Brain Synthesis, Retreat Rooms, and a Literary Concierge. The Collector's Guild ($890/yr) includes everything above plus the expanded Annual Personal Treasury, the Heirloom Pass, Prize voting rights, and early access to upcoming drops. Both are annual — never monthly.

Are my notes and highlights private?

Yes. Your highlights, notes, and bookmarks are private to you. No other member can see them. They are saved to your account and follow you across devices.

How does Talk to This Book work?

Talk to This Book lets you ask questions about the chapter you are currently reading. The AI answers using only that chapter's text. If the answer is not in the chapter, it says so. It never pulls in outside knowledge.

Is the ambient sound real audio?

No. The ambient sound (soft rain, fireplace, quiet cafe) is generated in your browser using the Web Audio API. No audio files are downloaded or streamed.

What are the narrator voices?

The Voice Room offers five seeded narrator characters, each with a distinct voice profile. Narrators are AI voices using your browser's built-in speech synthesis, tuned with per-character pitch, rate, and voice selection. Each narrator always sounds the same across the library. Choose your narrator from the reader toolbar.

Is the Weekly Synthesis private?

Yes. The Weekly Synthesis is strictly opt-in and private. You toggle it on from your dashboard. When enabled, the AI reads your highlights, notes, and Aha Moments from the week and writes a Personal Knowledge Briefing. No other member ever sees your synthesis. It is written by AI from your own notes, for your eyes only.

How does the Literary Concierge work?

The Literary Concierge generates a weekly reading plan based on your Reading Genome and recent highlights. Each Sunday, it recommends one 10-minute micro-read from the library matched to your interests, plus one re-read prompt drawn from your own highlighted passages. The plan refreshes automatically every week.

Are the Salon critic voices real people?

No. The two Salon Critics are AI characters with distinct seeded voice profiles, the same ones used in the reader's Voice Room. The salon conversation is generated by AI and read aloud using your browser's speech synthesis. Each critic always sounds the same.

Is Retreat Room feedback a critique service?

No. The Resident Author provides brief developmental feedback — one strength, one refinement, one encouragement. It is meant to support your writing practice, not to edit, grade, or critique your work. The retreat is a private, asynchronous space for focused writing.
